Critic / Journalist
Pedro Mexia was born in Lisbon in 1972. He’s a literary critic and chronicler at Expresso, a consultant to the President of the Republic regarding cultural matters, a member of the “Governo Sombra” radio and TV show and
co-author of the “PBX” radio programme. He was deputy and acting director of the Portuguese Cinematheque. He
directs the poetry collection of the Tinta da China editing company and co-directs Granta em Língua Portuguesa.
He has published several diaries and collections of chronicles (Lá Fora, 2018, won the Chronicle Grand Prix of the
Portuguese Writers Association) and gathered his poetic work in Selected Poems (2018)
