"The Craft" + "The Hunt" Ticket giveaway, with Passos no Escuro
We walk with Passos no Escuro once again, and we offer tickets for the screening of the film "The Craft", by Andrew Fleming, preceded by the short film premiered at MOTELX "The Hunt", by Diogo Costa, on June 18th, at 10 pm, at Passos Manuel (Porto). Check out the winners.
MOTELX advances side by side with Passos no Escuro, dedicated to the mission of projecting "cult cinema on the big screen of Passos Manuel" which has united the Lisbon International Horror Film Festival with our fellow paladins of genre cinema from Invicta. In this new collaboration, we are launching a contest to give away 2 double tickets to the screening of one of the most iconic teen horror titles of our youth:
"The Craft" (1996), a mix of supernatural horror and teen drama, which is also a landmark of 90s cinema, recognized both for its style and for its approach to themes such as social exclusion, the desire to belong and feminism.
The film will be shown in the 17th session of Season 5 of Passos no Escuro programming, on June 18, 2025, at 10 pm, at the iconic Passos Manuel space, in Porto. It will be preceded by the short film "The Hunt", by Diogo Costa, which had its world premiere at the last 18th edition of MOTELX.
To be eligible to win, participants had to follow the Facebook and Instagram pages of MOTELX and Passos no Escuro, and be the first to correctly answer the question indicated in the competition post, sending the answer to the email «passatempos@motelx.org», along with their name and ID/CC number.

"The Hunt" (2025)

A group of soldiers gets lost in the forest. During a break, the protagonist — THE SINNER — notices the strange scars that mark the hand of the self-proclaimed leader of the group — THE DAMNED ONE. Driven by memories of the past, he reacts impulsively and shoots in cold blood. The third member of the patrol — THE SAINT — watches, astonished, what happened. It is this moment that triggers a spiral of conflict between the soldiers, which culminates in a bloodbath and madness.
