Miguel Gonçalves Mendes
Miguel Gonçalves Mendes founded in 2002 the production company JumpCut. In 2004, he directed the documentary “Autografia” about the poet Mário Cesariny, winning Best Documentary feature at DOC Lisboa. In 2011, his project “José e Pilar” premiered, a co-production with O2 Filmes and the Spanish El Deseo (from the Almodóvar brothers). His most recent work is the TV series “O Labirinto da Saudade”, an adaptation from the book of the same name by philosopher Eduardo Lourenço. His most recent project is the documentary “O Sentido da Vida”.
