Game

Game

A film by John Minton

UK, 2025, 83'

In the midst of the 1993 British rave culture boom, a thief and a poacher find themselves trapped in a cat-and-mouse game that turns into a struggle for survival, where every decision could be fatal. Marking John Minton’s directorial debut, “Game” combines a chase thriller with a raw portrait of post-industrial England, set against the backdrop of a music scene defined by freedom and transgression. Produced and co-written by Geoff Barrow, founder of Portishead and composer for films such as “Ex Machina” and “Annihilation,” the film stars Marc Bessant and Jason Williamson, lead singer of Sleaford Mods, both in the first leading roles of their acting careers.
