Carol panics and argues with her girlfriend, Ray, after an unexpected marriage proposal. The situation worsens when she wakes up in an apocalyptic reality and discovers horrifyingly that Ray has transformed into a butterfly. Ray's transformation, the invasion of the outside world into their home, and the growing tension between them threaten their relationship.
