Surma, a Portuguese artist from Vale do Horto, is inspired by silence to create a universe of songs with influences from jazz to electronic, that define her unique identity. She has developed several projects, such as the Concerts for Babies, or the 5.ª Punkada (with patients of the Cerebral Palsy Association of Coimbra). She is also a sound designer and soundtrack composer. Surma was nominated for the Sophia Awards for composing the soundtrack of the film "Snu" and her debut album, "Antwerpen", was nominated by IMPALA (Independent Music Companies Association) as one of the 20 best European albums of 2017.
