YouTube MOTELX microFILMS
Another novelty this year is the creation of the Best YouTube
Short Trailer category. As such, all participants in this section must apply with their short film and its trailer in the YouTube Shorts vertical format. This new category comes with three new monetary prizes: one for the Best MOTELX microFILM, one for a Special Mention and another for the Best YouTube Short Trailer.
In addition to the screening of all films where the winners will be announced (which has become a cult session over the years), we will also have a 1-hour training given by YouTube, in MOTELX Lab, where you can learn how to better use the platform’s tools and monetise your videos.
The winning microFILM and YouTube Short trailer will also be screened at the Closing Session of the 17th Edition of MOTELX - Lisbon International Horror Film Festival.
