Welcome to 2017. The year that terror is stranger than fiction.

The 11th edition of the Lisbon festival of terror arrives to us in the year of post-truth, from strangeness to facts and a deaf dialectic of deep division of opinions and beliefs. And since we can not compete with such terror, it's best to join him!

What better way to celebrate these apocalyptic auspices than to honor the subgenre found footage and the legendary snuff filmes and celebrate the formal device that flood our day to day, to slowly terrorize us and lead to dementia: the news, podcasts, YouTube videos, Facebook posts ...

Using the profane tradition of the Devils of Vinhais as a background - one of the many examples of the religious-religious miscegenation we celebrate in our country - we enhance our own Portuguese folk horror, launching a collection of fragments of terror scattered throughout time and captured in the most various records - from daguerreotype to go-pro. Throughout generations, groups of individuals in costumes cross the countryside on purgative nights, recording in small amateur films their scenarios of reverence for horror and the actual (actual?) results of the hunt.

This year we will dare to see the forbidden, where horror is welcome.
