Big Bad Wolf 2019 Programme

Discover this year's Big Bad Wolf programme here full of activities and film screenings for children of all ages.
The Big Bad Wolf section has been welcoming dozens of children per day during the Festival with a diverse and surprising programme that has offered our younger audience drawing and painting workshops, projections of mystical figures, and even a live dubbing screening of "The Peanut Butter Solution" with the students of the Academia Nicolau Breyner, among many other fun and educational activities.

In 2019, we renew our partnerships with Maria Brinca à Sombra and O Meu Monstrinho. With Sara Del Rio in Maria Brinca à Sombra, all children of all ages will be able to face their fears through workshops of artistic expression; while with Susana Albiero and Gwendolyn Van der Velden, they will have the opportunity to openly speak abou their fears throughout the creation of protective monsters.

We also highlight the return of the cooking workshop with Ângela Pereira from rub-a-duckie and the already timeless Paper Chase Game through Cinema São Jorge's backstage rooms. And, of course, we have not forgotten the film screenings that bring to the Big Bad Wolf the great adventure of "The Little Vampire" by Richard Claus and Karsten Kiilerich (Holland/Germany/Denmark/United Kingdom, 2017) and the delightful "Happy Family" by Holger Tappe (Germany/United Kingdom, 2017). The short film screenings will also be back with a special programme curated by the Big Bad Wolf team.
