Álvaro Norte, a renowned composer, conductor and cellist, has a close relationship
with his prodigy student, Mauro. Towards the end of his degree, during a
dinner at Álvaro's house,
Mauro is invited by Álvaro to be his assistant and start a career as a
professional musician alongside him. Mauro says he's been thinking about
other plans, plans that would eventually separate them. Álvaro holds Mauro
captive in a room in his house. There, Álvaro tortures
Mauro while he writes and uses the pain as inspiration for his cello
composition. Mauro tries to go against Álvaro's wishes, but always ends up
serving his purpose, whether he understands it or not.
