Anything That Moves

A film by Alex Phillips

USA, 2025, 80'

Liam, a sex worker, roams freely through the bustling city of Chicago on his bicycle, dressed in a red wrestling suit and delivering both sex and sandwiches to his vast network of clients. One day, his contacts begin to die. With the police on his trail, Liam finds himself entangled in a series of violent murders that seem closely linked to someone who has once shared his bed. Described by director Alex Phillips as “yet another bold low-budget project” and as a kind of cross between “Repo Man” and “Bad Lieutenant”, “Anything That Moves”, shot on 16mm, pays homage to the erotic thrillers of the 1970s while casting a distinctly modern eye on loneliness.
