Founded in 1986 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, by Claudia Rey and Carlos Soul Slinger, the 'Liquid Sky artist collective' echoes the edgy style and vibes of the cult film 'Liquid Sky'. New York Manhattan-bound by '89, Liquid Sky expanded to Europe in the early ‘90s with the talents of Dr. Walker, a.k.a Ingmar Koch. Since then, the Liquid Sky style is based on Dada, Pop Art and Solar Punk - innovatively melding experimental sound and vision, music, film, fashion and environmental projects: remix reality for a better tomorrow! In 2019, Santana da Serra in Alentejo became the new home of Dr. Walker and Liquid Sky Europe, to form an epicentre for groundbreaking horror and sci-fi sound design, film music and film production with the most modern technology - as users and also developers. And amidst the art and innovation, Liquid Sky’s unique reforestation project is located here as well - idyllically located around the Liquid Sky Europe headquarters.
