DJane Fonda is the retrofuturistic persona of Brazilian multi-artist Bárbara Eugênia. Born in the São Paulo nightlife of the late 2000s, her identity gained full force in 2021, when she began her own productions.
The fruit of years of research, her sets transition between electronic beats and rock riffs, sometimes expanding into Latin sounds or delving into synth pop—sometimes on different days, sometimes on the same trip. The sacred space of the dance floor is, for her, a point of connection between the body and the invisible: a territory of fun, catharsis, and liberation.
