To illustrate this year's graphic elements, the Festival chose to invoke a mythical figure of Lisbon: the famous aqueduct killer Diogo Alves. BY and Take It Easy took care of the poster and ad, respectively.

Video Spot
"In a remote place, a medical enthusiast experiments with human anatomy using living people. This year, MOTELX's visuals travel to horror beginnings and ups the gore, the blood and the butcher - all in black and white. Also, joining MOTELX and Take It Easy's partnership was our animation department: Easylab. Using only photography stills, we used sequential images and stop motion to recreate the analog speed of the first cinematic experiences of the 20th century. The result is creepy and coherent with the bizarre narrative. And not recommended for those with full stomachs." - Jerónimo Rocha (Director)
