This year's poster was made by BY and designer Filipe Alves.

"The idea for this ad came after we asked ourselves: If MOTELX was a real motel, how would it welcome a tired tourist looking for a place to spend the night? Being a rookie in the horror genre, I decided to tell the story in a straightforward manner. We shot the action with a single take, with twin brothers playing the same character. We also filmed in 16mm to obtain that film look that many horror classics have.
Lastly, Nébula Studios animated the monster's shadow. All in all it was a very positive experience. I would like to thank the festival for trusting me as a filmmaker and, of course, Take It Easy, for all the support in another fun production"
