New Deadline for the Call For Entries 2024
Submissions for feature and short films are open via our FilmFreeway page and the New Deadline is 31 May*.
Every September, horror takes hold of Lisbon. MOTELX - Lisbon International Horror Film Festival has been showcasing the best national and international horror cinema in Portugal since 2007.
MOTELX aims to screen outstanding contemporary horror films produced globally, to stimulate the national production of genre cinema, and to host film cycles, retrospectives, and debates contributing to the contextualization and understanding of horror among all generations.
This year, MOTELX's 18th edition will take place from 10th to 16th September as usually at Cinema São Jorge.
Registrations for feature and short films are open until 31 May* via our FilmFreeway page.

*The only exception is the AI Horror Short Films Showcase section, which has a deadline of June 30th.
