MOTELX Warm-Up party @ Village Underground Lisbon
A dive into live remixes of horror classics, on a night where sound, the reverberating beat and the horror universe collide in energy.

MOTELX, in Septemper 7th, kicks off its 18th edition with a unique Warm-Up party at Lisbon's legendary techno club, Village Underground. Co-organised by Liquid Sky artist collective, this event fuses Berlin's famous futuristic dark techno and a horror cinematic atmosphere charged with visual glitch. With a remarkable line-up of multidisciplinary artists, we promise much more than just a simple ‘dance party’... Join this free fall into the world of VJ-art, on a night where electronic music and cinema come together for a unique experience in the capital.
Our line-up for a night of hellish dark beats & visuals:
Irakli (STAUB)
– Georgian DJ characterised by his emotionally charged beats and eclectic influences, producer and cultural worker based in Berlin. Founder (2013) and artistic director of STAUB.
DJ T.A.G (Tresor Berlin / Liquid Sky Artistcollective)
– Resident of TRESOR Berlin, mastered the art of ass-kicking beats with his modular synths in one of the world's most iconic techno clubs.
Dr. Walker (Air Liquid / Ex Kompakt Cologne / Liquid Sky Artistcollective)
– A techno-alchemist weaving dadaist beats and surreal distorted visuals from the chaos of circuitry, based in Santana da Serra, Alentejo.
Peter Kirn (CDM / establishment / Liquid Sky Artistcollective)
– A composer/musician, creative technologist, and journalist and has run CDM.link as a daily site for music technology culture for nearly 20 years. Based in Berlin.
Rita Toscano (Erica Synths)
– Portuguese multimedia artist, pioneering the exploration of unseen worlds in video art through innovative video modular systems.
Sebastian Kökow (The29NovFilms)
– Member of The29NovFilms and a well-known DJ in Berlin’s underground scene for his raw and intense techno sets heavily influenced by his love for industrial and EBM.
