Karl and Sanna leave the city to go on holiday to a remote farm in the Norwegian mountains, where they will help Anna with voluntary work. One of the tasks required is to take care of an organic monolith that protects the land and the animals and will soon exude a primordial, hypnotic power over them. A folktale about the modern human estrangement from nature.
