American filmmaker Macon Blair — who made his directorial debut with I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017) and delivered a standout performance in Blue Ruin, directed by longtime friend Jeremy Saulnier — helms this new, delirious chapter in the franchise created by Lloyd Kaufman and Troma Entertainment. Both a splatter comedy and a full-throttle serotonin bomb, the film also stars Kevin Bacon, Elijah Wood, Jacob Tremblay, Julia Davis, and Taylour Paige.
