Teresa rents an affordable apartment in Lisbon, but when she is cleaning, she finds
a head buried under the bed. Maria José,
the matricide, was the last tenant, and she
dismembered and scattered her mother throughout the city, the head had never been found.
The matricide was arrested, but bizarre deaths
continue to occur, along with strange incidents
connecting her to the queen of Ofiúsa, mythological figure of the foundation of the city of Lisbon. Despite
it all, Teresa still insists on living in Graça.
