Six students go to a remote village to do their KKN (a compulsory programme for students in Indonesia that combines academic knowledge with community service). However, Nur, Widya, Ayu, Bima, Anton and Wahyu never thought that Desa Penari would be a town different from any other... As Pak Prabu, the village chief, warns them, no one should go beyond the "forbidden gate", which leads deep into the forest, although he doesn't tell them why. A mysterious dancer begins to disturb Nur and Widya, while the other members of the group gradually become more frightened, especially when Bima shows strange behaviour. Who is this dancer and what does she want with these young people? This film is inspired by the viral story of an anonymous Twitter account called Simpleman.
