Madison is an American influencer backpacking through Thailand. Although her posts, pubs, lives, reels - you know where we’re going with this, right? - promote an exciting, paradisiacal trip, the young woman spends most of her time in a luxury resort eating Western food and drowning in self-pity, as her boyfriend, Ryan, has chosen not to go with her to the islands. Things seem to improve when Madison meets CW - brave, adventurous and (curiously) very camera-shy - who, after the mysterious theft of the former's documents, invites her to stay for another two weeks, during which she will serve as her guide. But the dangers outside the internet are still real, people are never quite what they seem and, after all, influencers are perhaps still capable of surprising us... This four-act psychological thriller had its world premiere at the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival in 2022.
