Li Tolqa: a paradisiac island where tourists are luxuriously treated and locals survive under a military and draconian regime. Fictitious, of course. Em and James ignore their marital crisis with sunbathing and fancy brunches. As James is a failed writer, they both live at the expense of Em’s patrimony. But the tedious life of the couple is shaken by Gabi, a mysterious and sensual actress, who drags them to an adventure outside the resort with her husband. A tragic accident happens when they return to the hotel and James is taken to prison. There, he discovers that in the country the penalty for homicide is death. There is, however, a way out, if you can afford it. An immersive dive inside a reality where pleasure - the certainty of being alive - and death are the same hallucination.
