Inspired by a true story, "Home for Rent'' is the latest horror film by Sophon Sakdaphisit, director of the first Thai Netflix’s series ("The Stranded"), and arrives to Portugal with the promise of terrifying you with a drama shrouded in occultism and mystery. Ning and Kwin are a married couple with a 7-year-old daughter, Ing. The three of them decide to move into a condo room and rent out the house to Ratree, a retired doctor, and Nuch, her 40-year-old daughter. But after the two new - and apparently perfect - tenants move in, Kwin begins to show a strange and unusual behaviour. The husband becomes secretive and suspicious, and even tattoos the same triangular image that Nuch has on her neck. As the atmosphere around her becomes more and more disturbing, Ning realises that her daughter is also being influenced by a sinister and invisible force... "Home For Rent" is being shown for the first time at film festivals, at MOTELX.
