Hold The Fort

A film by William Bagley

USA, 2025, 74'

Lucas and Jenny, a couple in their thirties, move from the big city to a quiet suburban neighborhood. Their new home — seemingly cozy and filled with light — is a total bargain...for one simple reason: every so often, a portal in the neighborhood opens and unleashes a torrent of violent supernatural creatures. The moral of the story? Always read the fine print on a housing contract. The follow-up to “The Murder Podcast”, William Bagley’s second feature is a relentless horror comedy that, in a world where audiences seem to favor “elevated horror,” simply shrugs and declares its only mission to be the gleeful, shameless entertainment of the crowd. Witches and werewolves lead the cursed army that runs wild in this film — one that, according to the director, was “made to be seen with a crowd.” So get the gang together — tonight, we hunt monsters.
