they face mercenaries serving a tyrant
that seeks to protect the Kaiju, his power source, controlling civilizations.
Francisco Lacerda e Amarino França
Francisco Lacerda and Amarino França have started a sub-genre of their own with their short films that has been dubbed "Azoresploitation". They have been working together since their first short "Dentes e Garras!" in 2014 all the way to their Slamdance 2020 official selection "Karaoke Night". They continue to collaborate to this day in various roles, their latest as Director (Lacerda) and Cinematographer (França) on the short film "They Call It... Red Cemetery" (Fantasia '22).
