Catalina, recently widowed, moves into a newly purchased home with her children, Mati and Emi, aged 10 and 7. When the babysitter cancels at the last minute, she has no choice but to leave them home alone for a long and stormy night — in a house located on none other than the infamous “Elm Street,” here reimagined with a Mexican twist. As the hours pass, and under the influence of an invisible presence, the siblings' games begin to spiral out of control. Meanwhile, Catalina uncovers all manner of secrets hidden within the walls of their new home. References to "Home Alone" abound in this nostalgic and claustrophobic 1980s-set horror tale, where the absence of internet and mobile phones makes room for a kind of mischief that’s as pure as it is dangerous.
