Warm-Up: "The Others" at Palácio do Grilo
An open-air screening in partnership with Black Cat.
MOTELX has partnered with Black Cat for a warm-up screening, taking place on August 27, ahead of the festival's 20th edition, running from September 3 to 13 at Cinema São Jorge and Cinemateca Portuguesa.
The event takes place at the enigmatic Palácio do Grilo, a 350-year-old palace built by a duke enamoured with the beauty of dreams, now a sanctuary of surrealism and a living theatre.
Screening on the night is The Others, directed by Alejandro Amenábar, a chilling psychological thriller in which a mother and her two children, living in an isolated mansion, begin to experience strange supernatural occurrences, masterfully blending suspense, mystery and unforgettable twists.

8:30 PM — Film starts
