Tristan, a frustrated opera singer, is obsessed with the work of Richard Wagner, especially with “Tristan and Isolde”, which he considers his masterpiece. With the help of his niece, Ângela, and his butler, Lima, he tries to recreate it at all costs.

Screenwriter São José Correia 

Born in Lisbon in 1974, she began her professional theatre training and activity at the Almada Theatre Company. With Teatro Aberto, she was part of the casts of “Luz na Cidade”, directed by João Lourenço, and “Agora a Sério”, directed by Pedro Mexia. With Escola de Mulheres, she featured in “Dentadas e Marcas de Sangue”, directed by Isabel Medina, among others. In cinema, she has been directed by such names as José Farinha (“The Enemy Without a Face”), António-Pedro Vasconcelos (“The Immortals”), Miguel Ángel Vivas (“I'll See You in My dreams”), João Botelho (“The Woman Who Believed She Was President of the USA”), Raúl Ruiz (“The Mysteries of Lisbon”), Artur Serra Araújo (“Conjugal Morals”), and Gianluca Gargano (“Rapiscimi”). From 2013 onwards, she began her directing career with the short-films “Uma Noite na Praia”, “Quando Era Pequenina Sonhava com Palhaços”, and “João Salomão”.
