The Nun

The Nun

A film by Corin Hardy

USA, 2018, 1'

When a young nun at a secluded abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novice at the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives, but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in “The Conjuring 2”, as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned. This is the second spin off that comes out of James Wan’s saga after “Annabelle”. Wan serves as a producer, while Gary Dauberman, who also wrote "It", signs the script and Corin Hardy, already known by MOTELX’s audience from when he came to introduce his film “The Hallow” in 2016, is the film's director.

Film not included in the Audience Award.
