Do you want a raucous trip, at a supersonic speed, spanning over four and a half hours, where an unexpected and unpredictable mish-mash of clips plays before you? You've come to the right place because you've just been invited to “The Movie Orgy” – a frantic collage made out of several genre films, news reels, commercials and TV bloopers under the guiding hands of director Joe Dante and producer Jon Davison. For many, this pandemonium will be the equivalent of handing a group of Gremlins a bunch of 16mm film for them to edit. And you couldn't ask for a better description. A one of a kind screening restored (and condensed) by the good folk at the American Genre Film Archive.
