The Field Guide to Evil

Austria, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Poland, Turkey, USA, 2017, 117'

From the producers that brought us “The ABCs of Death” and “Turbo Kid”, comes “The Field Guide to Evil”, an entirely new vision of anthology horror inspired by a global exploration of folklore and mythology. Created to give logic to mankind's darkest fears, these stories laid the foundation for what we now know as the horror genre. To explore mankind's archtypes “The Field Guide To Evil” invites the following directors from around the world: from Austria, Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala (“Goodnight Mommy”); from the UK, Peter Strickland (“Berberian Sound Studio”); from Poland, Agnieszka Smoczynska (“The Lure”); from Germany, Katrin Gebbe (“Nothing Bad Can Happen”); from Turkey, Can Evrenol (“Housewife”; “Baskin”); from the USA, Calvin Reeder (“The Rambler”); from India, Ashim Ahluwalia (“Miss Lovely”); and from Greece, Yannis Veslemes (“Norway”).
