Sue Ann is a loner who keeps to herself living in a quiet neighborhood in Ohio. One day, Maggie, a new teenager in town, asks her if she can buy alcohol for her and her friends. Sue Ann sees this as an opportunity to make new friends, despite their age difference, and offers them the basement of her home to hang out in order to avoid drinking and driving. But they must follow the rules: one of them must be sober, they cannot curse, they can never go upstairs, and they must call her "Ma". A terrifying thriller anchored by a bold and unexpected performance by Oscar Winner Octavia Spencer, "Ma" is produced by Blumhouse Productions ("Get Out", "Insidious", "The Purge").
