Drag

A film by Raviv Ullman, Greg Yagolnitzer

EUA, 2026, 86'

Two sisters (Lizzy Caplan and Lucy DeVito) with a turbulent relationship decide to rob an isolated house in upstate New York. What was supposed to be a simple robbery turns into a desperate mission when the older sister becomes immobilized upstairs due to back pain. Things get even worse when the homeowner (played by John Stamos, ’90s sitcom icon of "Full House") returns earlier than expected and the situation spirals out of control. This feature debut by directors Raviv Ullman and Greg Yagolnitzer, interestingly featuring several members of the DeVito family, is an independent, low-budget exercise in high-intensity thrills. Set entirely in a single house and featuring a small cast  it blends absurd comedy, family drama, psychological tension and pure horror in a setting as aesthetic as it is terrifying. After its world premiere at SXSW in Texas, the film will open MOTELX — and it is ready to drag everything in its path.
