Blood & Flesh - The Reel Life & Ghastly Death of Al Adamson

Blood & Flesh - The Reel Life & Ghastly Death of Al Adamson

A film by David Gregory

USA, 2019, 101'

B-movie director Al Adamson is found dead in his home in 1995, the victim of an apparent homicide. The truth behind his strange life is documented in this film through interviews with colleagues, friends and family. Throughout his bizarre career, Adamson directed over 30 low-budget films of dubious content: bikers, porn stars, Charles Manson, and alien conspiracies are some of his favourite themes. But his unexpected, horror film-like death would eventually mark his legacy forever. David Gregory returns to MOTELX's Doc Horror section after bringing in 2015 “Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley's Island of Dr. Moreau”.
