In the British capital, Jane (Edwige Fenech) is recovering from a miscarriage and childhood trauma after witnessing her mother’s murder. A blue-eyed man haunts her in recurring visions, leaving her unable to distinguish between what she experiences and what she imagines. On her sister’s advice, she seeks help from a psychiatrist, but it is a mysterious neighbour who introduces her to a satanic cult where liberation is offered through erotic rituals. Martino saturates the image with striking colour contrasts, using lenses that distort space and artificial lighting that blurs the line between reality and imagination. Jane’s pursuer seems no longer bound by the physical laws of space, and it is her psychological fragility that gives her the power of premonition, saving her but never curing her.
