In the 1980s, during the Chilean military dictatorship, a group of amateur radio enthusiasts began communicating with a mysterious being who claimed to live on "Friendship Island", one of the thousands of islets in the south of the country, and to have close relations with an extra-terrestrial race. This is the beginning of a science fiction documentary about one of Chile's hottest UFO cases. The exploration where truth and lies create a mythological delusion with thousands of followers is only understandable when you analyse the mind and enigmatic past of its main protagonist. Fascinating and powerful meditation elevated to a frighteningly contemporary political manifesto on the power of illusion at the service of a totalitarian state, in this case in the dictatorship imposed by Augusto Pinochet, a year before the Portuguese 25th of April.
