Alien

Alien

A film by Ridley Scott

USA, 1979, 117'

In deep space, the crew of the Nostromo spaceship is on its way to Earth when it is awakened by a distressed signal from an abandoned planet, where they discover a deadly form of life that lives inside human hosts. The crew members will have to fight not only for their own survival, but for the survival of all mankind. A landmark in horror and science fiction cinema, it introduced the world to one of the first female action heroes (Sigourney Weaver, as Ripley) and the mythical Xenomorph, created by designer H.R. Giger. Directed by Ridley Scott, "Alien" returns in a remastered version to celebrate 40 years since its premiere and prove that it can still scare audiences from all generations.
