The jury comprised of Christian Hallman, Frederico Serra, and Tiago Matos, presented the following declaration at the Closing Screening of MOTELx 2011, on 11 September 2011, Cinema São Jorge, Lisbon: "For its creative storytelling, its original point of view and artistic sensibility in portraying a fable of a young girl and her mother in a prejudiced society told by the wind, the MOTELx 2011 Award goes to «Conto do Vento», by Cláudio Jordão and Nelson Martins" - Christian Hallman (spokesman of the Jury)
«Conto do Vento» tells a bedtime story with boys and girls, old men and
old women, bonfires and monsters, death and screams.
«Conto do Vento» received a money prize of €3,000, plus €5,000 in post-production video services at Pixel Bunker, €3,000 in post-production audio services at Obviosom, and an holiday weekend of inspiration at one of the Belver Hotels.
